27 weeks!

I cant believe Im already here. Sheeeshhh! Almost to my third trimester. I remember only being eight weeks pregnant looking at girls as far along as I am now thinking "I will NEVER get there! Its so far away!" But I did it and am VERY happy to only have 12 weeks left. Pregnancy is starting to get uncomfortable (not like it wasn't before). But even more now. I find that my back is always aching and im just tired.

Well lemmmmme tell you....that is a huge blessing becauseeeeeee...

finals are just coming to a close so I will be able to rest more soon and that will be great. As this semester is ending I've had a lot of time to reflect about the past few months and everything I was able to accomplish. I KNOW that I had heavenly help getting my butt out of bed every day at 6:30 for class and then going to school all day and THEN work after that until 6 at night. I would come home so exhausted but the Lord still made a way for me to be able to complete all of my homework and study for my classes (which were some pretty difficult ones this semester I might add).

My sweet husband has been so patient with me and has helped out so much. There were more than a few nights when dinner wasn't on the table or laundry wasn't done but he neverrr complained. Im so grateful for that. It feels good to know that I worked hard this semester and can have a break in the winter. I will only be taking 7 credits to finish up my degree so I will have plenty of time to get ready for the baby to come. Wahoo! Well we are off on monday to CALIFORNIA! Sunny...warm... ahhhhh I can't wait. Especially after today when it was only 11 degrees outside. #death. All of Danny's family will be in town so it will be one big party and we can't wait! I will try to update those three weeks but if not...this one will have to do for this month.

Tribute to my One and Only.

Yesterday was Danny's birthday. A lot of you might not like mushy stuff and if thats the case then just click right on out of this page because you won't want to read what I'm about to write. Hey...at least I warned you. This blog isn't just for others to read but its also for Danny and I to look back on and read about our memories so I just had to write down a few.

Many of you probably know that I was pretty nervous to get married before Danny and I sealed the deal. I had terrible anxiety and couldn't stop thinking about all of those couples who were terribly unhappy in their marriages. Danny was so good to me and he wasn't the reason I was so nervous. I watched my parents while growing up and always wanted to have a marriage like theirs. To this day they are still happily in love and you can genuinely tell that they are each others best friend. Well being the hesitant girl that I am, you can imagine how hard it was for me to take that step forward. But I am SO glad I did! There isnt't one single day that goes by that I have regretted that decision. I have never been so happy and felt so content than when I am with Danny. He is truly the most amazing man ever! I am spoiled by him on a regular basis and he will do literally a-ny-thi-ng in the world to make me happy.

I still remember a couple weeks ago he did something that I will always remember. It was a saturday night and I really wanted to do a big shabang dinner the next night for sunday dinner. Rolls, roast, mashed potatoes. The whole thing. So, around 9pm or so we went to the store to get the things we needed. We were pretty tired but we just ran real fast and then were going to go home and get in bed. Well...we got home and I remembered that the roll recipe I was making needed to be refrigerated over night before baking the next day. So, I started making the dough. This was probably about 10:30 and Danny started getting ready for bed. All of a sudden, I realized I didn't have enough flour! I was only about 2 cups short, but enough to make a difference. I was pretty bummed and when Danny heard me mumbling and grumbling to myself in the kitchen, he came out and asked what was wrong. He told me he would go to the store and get me more flour. I told him it was fine and that he could go back to bed, but he assured me that he wanted to get me some. So, he set out while I finished the rest of the dough recipe. He came back. It is now about 11:30 and he went and crawled back into bed. I started setting out everything I needed for the roast in the morning to put in the crock pot...and AGAIN realized I forgot something! Lipton onion soup mix. By now I just wanted to give up on this whole dumb dinner thing. I was so annoyed and tired. Again, hearing me mumbling and grumbling and upset in the kitchen, he came out. I laughed at my stupidity and told him what I forgot. But oh well. I could go without the soup mix it wasnt a big deal. Danny went back into the room and I started cleaning up when all of a sudden I heard Danny come out of the bedroom. He was fully dressed. Once I figured out what he was doing I ran and blocked the door. I was NOT going to let him go out a SECOND time in the middle of the night. Well, one wrestling match later and me trying to run and hide the car keys in my bra game, he was successful and ran out the door with a big fat victorious grin on his face. I remember looking out he window as he backed out of the stall and thinking that I was the luckiest girl alive. He is constantly doing little charitable acts of service for me like this and everyday I want to be more and more like him.

In only 4 months we will be welcoming our little boy into the world and I cant help but get choked up when I think about him and Danny and what an AMAZING father he is going to be. I hope our little guy is exactly like him and is just as dedicated to service and love as he his. Well anywayyys. Sorry to get all lovy dovey. But I couldn't help it! Im in love Im in love and I dont care who knows it! (; Happy Birthday sweet boy! I love you more than anything.

-Your girl

Oh and I couldn't forget these...Cutest things EVER!....

I actually really like this cuddly time of year. I told Danny that I'm going to miss all of this when we move to California in May. His response: "Don't worry hun it sometimes gets down to the 50's!" Har. Har. Har. These past few weeks of pregnancy have been alright. 18 weeks and Gender Announcement!

This past weekend was SO much fun! Danny and I drove down on Friday for my sister-in law's baby shower, the BYU game, a family reunion with the Lamprecht's, and general conference! woot woot! It was such a great weekend.

We also were FINALLY able to announce the gender of our baby! We found out on tuesday  and had to wait a whole THREE-DAYS to tell everyone. Well....I actually might have slipped and told a few people before...shhhh! ;) For those of you who dont know we're having a little BOY! Oh man. When our ultrasound tech told us we were THRILLED. I've wanted a little boy for a while now and so has Danny. We couldn't have been any happier. Everyone has always told me that once you find out the gender, it makes it so much easier to wait for their arrival because you can start shopping for them, decorate the nursery, etc. I think its the complete opposite! Feeling this little boy kick me all day long just makes me want him now. We are already so in love with him and it just keeps getting stronger and stronger every day! So here are some pics from Utah and of my 18 week bump. Im almost 19 weeks now and I feel like Im already way bigger. but maybe thats from the chicken fajitas I just had. Idk.

My #2 boy. Love that little nose!

17 Weeks!

I've finally got the time to write about our little inside me. It has been so fun to watch the weeks go by and read about all of the changes that are going on in my body! Its so amazing. Lets be real though...whoever said pregnancy is awesome is a straight liar. What were they talking about?? Anyways....we finally decided we needed to take a picture of me today and document the mini bump that is starting to protrude from my abdomen. Oh and p.s. for those of you that think this is weird....these pictures are for you! *cough cough Travis and Missy cough cough* ;)

I got a little picture crazy while Danny was brushing his teeth...dont worry I wont show you all of them.

And then a serious one...because lets be honest...I am going to be a mom soon.

Maternity clothes? Not yet...but definitely getting to the point where I need to lay down to button
those jeans of mine
Stretch marks? thankfully no

UtArD

Danny and I just got home from 5 days in Utah. We went there to go see my cousin and his cute fiance tie the knot! It was so fun to get to go into the sealing room and see them be married for time and all eternity! I always remember being the younger cousin who had to babysit during all of the weddings so it was exciting to finally be able to go in with my OWN husband! It was really neat.

Family dinner the night before the wedding

10 week non-existant bump

After the wedding

 Love them...

 My AMAZING Grandparents!

 Lovie of my lifey

Mommy dear

My awesome in-laws were SO generous and offered their condo for my family to stay at in Salt Lake that is SUPER nice. It is right above desert book and looks out over temple square. We all had a blast there. Thursday and Friday were filled with wedding things and cousin time which is always fun. Saturday, the boys went golfing in the morning while us girls went out shoppin! I love all of Utah's cute little home stores that Idaho does NOT have (tears). We were like kids in a candy shop looking at everything. Sunday we had the opportunity to go to Music and the Spoken Word in the conference center. It was beautifulllll! I still remember being little and cringing when my mom would turn on the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in the car thinking it was SO BORING. Well, I can officially say that I love them now and could seriously sit in that conference center all day and listen to them. It was a really neat experience. After that, my sweet sister took us on a tour of temple square (she was a missionary there for a year and a half).

In the conference Center

In front of the Christus statue. My favorite part of temple square

Monday we all decided to go Seven Peaks and had a BLAST...except for the fact that I couldn't do much since I was prego. I spent a lot of time in the lazy river :) Overall it was a great week. Now back to regular life. Bumma.

Craziness

That is the word I would use to describe the past couple weeks/months in the Hatch household. Most of you have probably heard that Danny and I are expecting a baby in March! We are thrilled. Im only ten weeks (almost done with first trimester - wahoo!) so we have a while to go. So far, its been okay. I've had lots of morning all-day sickness but thankfully I've mostly just been nauseated rather than actually throwing up a ton. My hubby has been an ANGEL for me the past few months and has been so patient and helpful to me. I really don't give him enough credit.

Anyways, I just wanted to share a few pictures from the past month visiting my family. We had the opportunity to go home at the beginning of July for my Uncle Rick's funeral. As many of you know, he fought brain cancer for almost two years. He was such an amazing uncle and I will miss him always teasing me and giving me those big hugs! Its times like these where I am sooooo grateful for God's plan and eternal families. The week we were home happened to be the week of the 4th of July so Danny and I stayed for about a week with my family. We had lots of fun and enjoyed relaxing and being with cousins. Here are a few pictures that are terrible quality.. but oh well.

Water fight between my Dad, brother, and sister

A few days later, we went to Seattle as a family. We had lots of fun eating on the pier...and giving most of our food to the birds...going to Pikes Place and doing a little shopping!

It was such a fun week! I love my family!!

Meet Our Little Melvin

Yes, it is true. We got the cutest little ball of fur in the state of Idaho.

I've been wanting a kitten reallyyyy bad lately. So, to help suppress my baby hungriness, we decided to start lookin! After about 213234930 trips to THREE different shelters, and hubs talking me out of buying them all.. we finally found the perfect little boy.  He is SUCH a mamas boy. I've had such a hard time taking pictures of him by himself because he ALWAYS is wanting to be held and cuddled. HUh...melt my heart.

After having an all out crazy fest in his new home (he is SO curious) he crashed next to the furry pillow. I only took about 400 pictures. dont judge.

Mamas boy

I guess you could call him a daddy's boy too ;)

RExbuRGer

So we made it! It was a long drive and it took a while to get everything set up but we are finally sort of settled. On Tuesday we started classes. Danny is doing IBC this semester which will definitely keep him busy and I decided taking a bum load of credits to try to graduate earlier. After my first day though, I came home and was POOPED. Like not just the normal pooped. But the I-have-no-idea-how-Im-going-to-make it-through-the-rest-of-the-day kind of pooped. So, after talking to Danny we decided it would be best If I dropped a few of my 16 credits. After all, I ammmm taking anatomy. and psychology. and womens health. and medical terminology. and family foundations. anddd medical law and ethics. I think I was having one of those superwomen days when i registered for classes. HA.

Also...our neighbors below us hate us. The second night we were here, my brother and sister and law were with danny and I in our bedroom talking about...well...married things. ...really...really...loud. All of a sudden we hear a knock on our door. Lets just say we didn't make a friend that night. The next day we hear another knock. Same guy...apologizing for being "Rude" the night before and then tells us that Danny is his home teacher. I tried reallyyy hard not to laugh. Tonight we decided to take them and our other neighbors some dessert trying to suck up...they still hate us i think. oh well. Anyways...here is some pics of our new apartment. We live at Hyde Park and we're loving it! We had never seen it before moving up here and just kinda decided to sign a contract because they were cheap but we ended up enjoying it a lot more than we thought.

Well I got to get to bed! Night everyone!
