-That Simon would continue to grow healthy and strong
-He would know that his family loves him
-Grow and develop to be a good brother
-Learn to follow the Spirit
-Grow in the gospel and serve a mission
-To have peace and be close his Heavenly Father
-Bring the joy and happiness that he has brought into our lives into every life he touches.
I am so grateful for my sweet husband who honors his priesthood and is worthy to bless our family. He is such an amazing father and husband to me, and I am so thankful that he is my partner to raise these two cute boys with .
After church we headed back to our house for a little lunch. We had L.A. dogs, seven layer dip, fruit with a yummy marshmallow creme dip, and salad. For dessert, my sweet mother-in-law got about 10 mini bundt cakes from "Nothing Bundt Cake". There were amazing!! We were sad to see everyone go, but so happy they could make it to be with us on that special day.
I so regret not getting more pictures of Simon the morning of his blessing! Thankfully though while I was running around like a crazy person getting ready for church, my family snapped some pictures of Simon and Emmett. It perfectly shows their relationship thus far (Emmett's obsession with Simon...sometimes to a fault!)
And one more of this little stinker! ;) He was running everywhere when we were trying to get pictures, so my sweet visiting teacher came and gave him a sucker to occupy him while we got all of the pictures we wanted!
