Simon - 3 months!

I CANNOT believe my little baby is three months old!! These past few months have flown by and have been so much easier than I ever imagined them to be. Simon is the easiest and best little baby. He cannot help but smile at anyone and everyone who looks at him.

Right now he:
-has rolled over from his stomach to back a couple of times (I need to give him more tummy time, but he doesn't like it for very long!)
-LOVES to be talked to. Usually, whenever he is fussy its just because he wants to be held and looked at/talked to. He loves interaction with us or Emmett. It is so sweet!
-When he is fussy and I'm doing something where I can't get to him for a minute, I ask Emmett to go talk to him. Emmett goes and lays right next to him and 95% of the time it gets Simon to calm down instantly. My heart MELTS seeing this. It is the cutest thing in the world!
-He is sleeping great. We put him down to bed around 8:00 after Emmett goes down, and then I feed him before I go to sleep around 10:00 or 11:00. Then he usually sleeps till around 5:00, he eats, then doses on and off for another hour or two. We had a few weeks where he was sleeping a solid nine hours from 10 pm to around 7 a.m. every day, but lately that has changed! Hopefully he will go back to the long stretches soon! :) During the day he usually naps from 8:30-11:00, 1:00-2:30 ish, and then cat naps the rest of the day until bedtime.
-He is still sleeping in his swing...I know, I know. I have a new theory with kids though that has saved my butt this time around. ANYTHING goes the first few months. It is so much easier to sleep train a 3-4 month old then try and make your newborn sleep where/when they don't want to. So thats what I have done. He sleeps great propped up in his swing, and we all get rest! :) Soon I'm going to have to break that habit, but for now we are all enjoying it!
-He is happy ALL DAY until about five at night. This usually always happens when I'm making dinner which makes it difficult to get everything ready while Im trying to hold him! I need to start baby wearing again!
-He has started to make the cutest cooing and talking noises. He usually does it after he is fed and we swaddle him. He stares at the ceiling and just talks and talks. It is my favorite thing ever!

A few pictures of him lately:

Before heading to the pool the other day, Danny put on Simon's sunhat and curled it into a cowboy hat. We were laughing at how goofy he looked in it!

We were at lunch with Danny's mission companion one day and I looked across the table and saw Simon grinning for no reason! I had to snap a picture because it was so adorable!

We LOVE you Simey Bear!!
